Yesterday, ZT was back and we had lunch with Isabel, along with yl and xl.. She seems so much happier and it really reminds me of the times where we all go out for buffet after our salary. Those are the times where there was no stress but CBT and AT, Callover. Come to think of it, this blog was also started by her...

After Chionging and neglecting so much of my life, friends and church, it really struck me does it really worth it to Aim for something and not acheive it? After running a race then you realised you went to the wrong finishing line.

Work is not as tough as BMT but does it worth the amount of time we place in. 12 hrs * 20 days =240hrs (without clearing CN on weekends) That amount of returns/hr is slightly higher than my part time job years back in Poly days.

Things went really bad last week with alot of email CCing and BCCing at client's place. 1 week audit last year = 3 weeks + audit for this year. What went wrong? Leadership, planning, or communication? Is there a clear guide of when and how we are to do our work, or should we just follow instruction when it don't seems to make sense. Anywae, again, I am a fry too small to comment.

For those who don't know how to claim MRT fare, let me tell you.. Just go to SMRT website and print the fare chart and attach in. How do I know? Cos I've claimed it. Why I claim, cos its.... a managemet decision...... Good thing my house no night rider, just in case management want me to take night rider home around midnight after work.

A bad job with arrow shooting around and no benefits = SUPER LOW MORALE & MOOD + ANGRY.... = No quality work...

But who cares? 1 month leave start in 3 days time...

When my lecturer was going through one of the business model the fist thing that came to my mind was, a house that provide costly water. Why? read on...

There are a few school of thoughs and key approaches to motivating employee, but when my lecturer went through the "Herzberg" approaches, it really "speak of someone I know'

Herzberg theory was that there are some "motivators factors that will motivate employees" and some "poor hygience factors that will cause disatisfaction But Good Hyginence factors will not motivate" [So Hygience will only case problem la...]

So what are motivators? Recognition, interesting work, possiblity of growth are all motivators.
Whereas Hygience factors are lack of pay, poor working conditions, supervision.

So how dose it apply to the particular floor of the house that provide costly water?

Motivators.
Recognition - do not exist on that floor, as they are SMallE.
Interesting work - maybe but the higher floor seems more interesting
Possiblility of growth - Saw some1 with O level getting 3k/mth & another getting 30k bonus, growth seems slower there.

Hygiene factors.
Lack of Pay - YES YES!!! A small lack compare to the green DoT, a big compare to elsewhere.
Poor Working conditions - No... very good working conditions, but that does not motivate.
Supervision - Thats not for me to comment.

So according to Herzberg theory, there are no motivators on that floor, but hygience factors kick in to de-motivate.. Haiz..
