    Emerging - Benchmarking is not the way

    I've talked about Benchmarking as a way of learning from yr competitor. But as mentioned Benchmarking will never make u the market leader as you will always be a follower. To really have a competitive advantage (CA), something that only we have, u need to have a mixture of understanding of the situation. CA includes differentiation and Niche respond.

    Makinsey 7S model mentions that to be successful, most company would require the 7S.

    Strategy - In terms of Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term. (done)
    Skills - Our Core Competency (done)
    Staff - The design/Innovation Staff (if One Man Operation, then DIY... done)
    Style - Management/working style (done)
    System - IT system (75%)
    Structure - NA
    Shared Value - A common goal with the staff.

    But somehow patience is not inside... So does it mean that it does not applied to those with high risk appitite and insitutional investors?

    Making decision is also difficult. Should we do nothing, withdrawal, market penetration, or product development? If yr product is a Star (according to BCG matrix) then market pentration would the correct choice to make.

    But in life, no matter how good you are, advocacy threat still exist... So u may still end up losing... Withdrawal decision is for the weak. Impossible is only for others who will not succeed....

    Don't know what to say also... write too much crap Liao...
